
Today I worked on two paintings. Both contain swirls and rounded shapes, which appears to be my favorite shapes.
I created both pieces using the same color palette but tried different methods of mark making. I love the sound and feeling of the paint as I draw the marks with the end of my paintbrush! I got additional texture by using my brayer.
As you can see the second one is simpler in its composition, but the texture is beautiful – more so than in these photos. ~S
